Update: as of April 2018, La Frontera has really improved. They became more attentive and answered messages in a timely manner. Also, the receptions are always patient and friendly. Worse than COPE. Can never get hold of my daughter's case manager or the intake department for that matter. Horrible customer service.

Yes la frontera is an imperfect system. There are some issues however understanding is needed. There is a heavy caseload there. If you need help you have to assert yourself and communicate. There is no perfect system anywhere. My one complaint is front desk, they are quick to transfer to a machine than help with any issues. They are not able to address issues due to overwhelming clientelle. I find if you need immediate help, you have to go in yourself. Or call the hotline.

La Frontera (W Grant Rd and W 29th St) has been a good resource for our family for two and a half years. We have a wonderful family therapist and a good case manager who are truly interested in the welfare of our family and advocate for us at school, in their offices, and in our homes.

Great services for my twelve years old daughter. Been going there since she was eight years old in foster care system but finally adopted in 2016. Absolute best services set up for her. Family therapist Liz Clark. Home Case Aide, Family Support Aide, Respite, and case manager. Dr Sehn is a psychiatrist there and is A 1. She has a great job with my daughter medications. Finally after four years she is at the right level. I can't say enough about La Frontera.
