While far from perfect, Recovery in Motion is an overall good place to get treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. The clinical staff is very caring and competent. Both primary therapists are very good, with Patty being exceptional - easily top 3 out of dozens I’ve worked with either personally or professionally. With few exceptions, the clinical, support and administrative staff are extremely caring and devoted to the clients. I feel that more individual therapy, personalized care plans and more time with case managers and internet use to better assimilate back into real world responsibilities would elevate the level of care, and therefore overall efficacy. However, this comes with increased costs. Personally, I liked that we cooked and cleaned for ourselves (helped me develop a more disciplined routine for when I was out). I also VERY much agree with limiting tv time, feeling that the majority of the first world populous (addict or not) is FAR too dependent on technology, tv and social media. Overall - you get what you pay for... if you want a private chef and/or highly individualized, 1 to 1 care, find another treatment center. Also be prepared to pay at least 3 times as much.

This place has been nothing but a blessing. I lost all hope and decided to check myself in because I’ve tried every other option to stay clean. I can’t put it into words how grateful I am I have made that decision. Recovery in Motion helped me find a new way to live and they continue to be there for you even after you’re discharged. The staff are amazing and are knowledgeable on the disease of addiction!

Ive worked in many treatment centers over the years and RIM is by far the best of them for many reasons. It saddens me to see any poor reviews because I know that comes from someone who is in pain and is struggling. Treatment here is tough, there is no question about that. Rules can be hard to follow when we come from a life of drugs/alcohol/crime, but those who dig in and give it their all are rewarded with a lifetime of sobriety. They learn a new way to think, be, and live. I love being surrounded by staff and clients that are willing to sacrifice for the sober and happy life they deserve. I love this place, and am proud to be a part of such a tight and loving "work family".

Rehabs have a tough job. Not everyone is going to leave happy and unfortunately a lot of blame is placed on the actual treatment center instead of people taking a look within. Recovery in motion has been great, they have helped my family and worked with us.

Lot of negative comments... From my experience, the ones who leave negative reviews are just mad about something like being held accountable. Most of the good recovery places are ran by ex cons, who wants to go to a recovery center where the staff learned everything from a book? I prefer somewhere that the staff has lived what I lived, seen what I've seen, and been through what I've been through. Remember... It works if you work it. This place is a good place, I know some of the staff, I will highly recommend recovery in motion to anyone looking for help for themselves or a family member.

I have worked in behavioral health for sometime and to see how this program works for the clients is truly amazing, the work they do with the families is outstanding! These clients are broken when they come in to RIM ( Recovery In Motion) and to see how they get the pieces back together one day at a time is truly an honor for me. I am so glad to be part of the RIM team and to work with such amazing clients in their lowest part of their life is such and honor and a blessing to see them grow!!!!
